Course Description
Fundamental Skin Care is an indispensable program for specializing in skin care. It teaches foundational knowledge in skin anatomy, physiology and skin analysis. You will learn essential techniques for administering luxurious facial treatments.
This course focuses on laying a strong foundation of skin knowledge that is needed to expertly analyze skin and administer perfect facial treatments. You will specifically focus on recognizing the condition of the skin, knowing skin disorders, and conducting successful cosmetic consultations. In addition, you will learn about facial devices and master facial massage and treatment techniques.
Education on Your Own Terms
At Wrapture Beauty Academy, we understand the demands of life, work and family, and have structured this program to be delivered using our hybrid model: a combination of online and hands-on training.
This allows you to study theory at your own pace before attending the hands-on training. Once you register, our administrator will contact you to set up your individual start dates for the program. Our theory is designed to adapt to different learning styles and fit each student’s ability and availability. It includes quizzes, tests, and reviews at the end of each chapter to help you gauge your progress and anchor new knowledge. Your practicum will take place under the guidance of an experienced educator and skin care esthetician.

No prior background or education in the beauty industry is necessary, making this program an ideal starting point for new entrepreneurs or estheticians who plan to focus on skin care.
If you are not a certified esthetician or medical professional, this is the perfect prerequisite course for more specific, advanced treatments such as Dermaplaning. You will graduate from this program with a newfound passion for skin and strong, foundational knowledge of its structure, functions, conditions, and cosmetic treatments. You will discover new earning potential from being able to offer specialized facial treatments.
